Welcome to The Dixie Divers of Houma, Louisiana!
The Dixie Divers is an organization formed
in 1985. We hope to provide recreational SCUBA divers in Southeastern Louisiana with a community
of interest and to promote SCUBA through diving events, and travel. While diving in South Louisiana
is often seen as either a job or as a hunting sport and neither is exclusive to our club we wish
to promote diving for the sheer beauty of its creatures and the grandeur of its environment. If you are
